Mounting Position
To achieve a high degree of efficiency,the accumulator should be fixed as close as possible to the position that is sevices It is recommended that the accumulator should be installed vertically;in the same time adequate spcce is necessary for testing and filling equipment.
Fastening
Correct fastening is given using clamps and brackets arranged as(fig.13)
Any welding and machining on the accumulator is absolutely forbidden
A、For checking gas pressure or adjusting fluid flow rate
B、 Safery block is necessary between the accumulator and hydraulic circutit.
C、 To prevent theoil back up to oil tank,a single valve is necessary between the accumulator and pump
D、To protect the hydraulic circuit,safery block or pressure relief valve is necessary to the accumulator with capacity over 10L.
E、 In any case,must be used only nitrogen,never air or oxygen.
Nitrogen charging
Nitrogen must be charged in theaccumulator before starting tu use.
To keep constant pressure,re-charging is necessary when the gas pressure lower.
Gas charging
To fill the gas into the bladder,charging kits is necessary.When pre-charge gas pressure is over 10Mpa,a seecial gascharging equipment can ben used.To avoid the possibility of damaging the bladder,Gas charging rate must be slow before the valve of lil fluid valve is closed.
Determination for nitrogen-charging pressure
The accurate choice of pre-charge pressure is fundamental in obtaining the optimum efficiency and maximum life fromtheaccu-mulator and its components,the maximum storage or release of liquid is obtained theoretically when the gas pre-charge pressure P0 is as close as possible to the minimum working pressure. For practical purposes to give a safety margin.and to avoid valve shut off during operation,the value,unless otherwise stated,is P0=0.9P1.Special values are used for:
A、 Hydraulic line shock damper. P0=0.9P1.
B、 Pulsction damper. P0=0.6P1
C、 Fluid power storage..0.25P2≦P0≦P1.
D、 Volume compensator or pressure compensator. P0≦P1.
Checking and maintenance
To keep constant pressure,re-charging is necessary when the gas pressure lower.In the same time,it is vevy important to find the reason of gas leaking and to replace in time.
Be out of work for long time
When the accumulator stopped working for a long time,it is necessary to shut off the ball valve between the accumulator and the pressure pipe for keeping the hydraulic circuit pres sure over gas pressure in the bladder.
Maintenance
For the reason of gas valve,replace the gas valve aafter discharging completely the gas from the bladder by gas charging kit.
For the reason of seal ring between the gas valve and bladder,replace it after discharging completely the gas from the badder by gas charging kit.
For the reasom of bladder damage,replace it ofter discharging completely the gas from the bladder by gas charging kit.
In any case,if find any leaking of hydraulic oil,replace the O ring between the oil fluid valve and adapter.
